Meet AJ

aj@fullcirclefriends.org

AJ Sisodia is the Founder and President of Full Circle Friends (FCF). After nearly ten years as an active volunteer and coach with Special Olympics Massachusetts, AJ was compelled to create Full Circle Friends after identifying the challenges young adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) face as they transition to adulthood.

Upon aging out of many resource programs when turning 22, individuals with IDDs are at a high risk for social isolation due to limited options. This can become extremely detrimental to their mental health, confidence and personal growth. AJ set out to create an active and inclusive community that could have fun together, while also trying to remove some of the barriers for its members and caregivers.

Prior to forming Full Circle Friends, AJ served in several business development roles for organizations including Truth Initiative® America’s largest nonprofit combating smoking, vaping and nicotine use; Virgin Pulse (now Personify Health) the world’s number one health, wellbeing & navigation platform; and the TD Garden home of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics.

In his free time, AJ enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, coaching, and following his favorite football team the Washington Commanders. He is forever grateful to his MetroWest Flyers Special Olympics family for being the inspiration for Full Circle Friends.
